The Brief:

“We’d Like A Garden We can Entertain in and Enjoy as a family”

This large, 260 square metre garden underwent a total transformation to create a split-level garden for the whole family and for entertaining.

The kids had an outdoor gymnastics area. The outdoor kitchen came complete with stainless steel units, a gas bbq and a vertical herb wall.

The kitchen was adjacent to a large covered dining area with heating, which offered shade during the day and warmth into the evening.

At the end of the garden, surrounded by plants was a secluded relaxation area for a peaceful retreat.

A zonal lighting design had two functions. The first was to light the areas in use during the evening. The second was the ability to switch to feature lighting for an atmospheric view of the garden from the house year-round.
