Indian Sandstone patio, steps & sleeper flower beds.
The Brief:
“My patio is sinking! i want to replace it with sandstone paving, so i can have my lunch in the garden”
This client had a sinking patio which was unsafe and unusable, despite being a few years old.
We reinforced all of the sub-layers and extended the patio area to allow it to be used for dining.
Sandstone is a warm, classic option with a lovely Mediterranean feel, ideal for outdoor eating. The patio stepped down into the lawn and we added beds on either side of the steps to incorporate a tiered planting scheme, which lead into the rest of the garden.
