The Brief:
“i love entertaining and having friends over. I want my garden to be like a wine bar.”
This garden was all about entertaining. Firstly, screening was built to provide privacy from flats which overlooked the garden. Shelves were built into an eye catching wall, which was designed to be transformed into a bar area, holding bottles, glasses and cocktail accoutrements.
The patio area was extended to provide room for dancing and large gatherings, and the geometric tiling added to the indoor-outdoor feel to make a strong design statement.
Festoon lighting added atmosphere and meant the parties could go on into the wee hours.
A more intimate seating area was created to catch the early sun for coffee the morning after.
